The OAA is one of the largest private observatories and unique in its kind. It has different telescopes, all with the latest technology, offering the visitor a unique experience.

You can experience night observations through nine telescopes, and day observations through three solar telescopes, which have a Hydrogen Alpha filter, allowing to observe the details in the Sun’s surface such as: the chromosphere, filaments, spots and bumps. The AAO also has a refractor Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope equipped with a solar filter which permits to observe the Sun in real color and allows to take high resolution images.

The Sun observations can me made directly through telescopes or indirectly through a webcam.
